Lost XP administrator password?

The information given below is given in case you have forgotten your system administrator password, please remember can very well be used to hack every XP computer you have any type of account on.

1. Open cmd.exe
cmd.exe can be found using windows explorer in c:/windows/system32/
or press windows key+r, then type cmd, then press enter
or go to 'Start' select 'Run' type cmd and click on the OK button.

If someone has blocked the file cmd.exe from running
Make a new text file, type in it "command.Com" and save it as command.Bat. This will make a .Bat file that will open cmd.Exe

2. Use the 'net user' commands to create a new user
At the command prompt (>_) type: net user newusername newpassword /add
e.g. new user mike getmein /add

mike is now the username
getmein is the password

3. Add the new user to the administrators group
At the command prompt (>_) type: net user mike administrator

this will add the user "mike" to the usergroup administrator, and give him all privileges with it. Obviously the username doesn't have to be mike, it can be anything you like
